Pilgrim Memorial State Park is at once the smallest and the most visited parks in the Massachusetts park system. Housed at this park are Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II, a replica of the ship that first brought settlers to New England.

Bird watching and beachcombing are both popular activities at Ellisville Harbor State Park. Also featured here is an 18th century farm site, a salt marsh and several miles of beachfront. In addition, harbor seals are regularly seen off the coast during the fall and winter months.
